History of Hypnosis
Like breathing, hypnosis is an inherent and universal trait experienced by all human beings since the dawn of time. It’s only been in the last few decades that we have come to know this. Hypnosis hasn’t changed. Recorded history practices from Hindu Vedas to ancient Egypt and Greeks used it to cured illness. The law of Manu describes the levels of hypnosis, In 1846 345 major surgeries were performed using hypnosis as the sole atheistic in British India. In 1791 John Elliotson, an English surgeon reported numerous painless surgical operations with great success with great results. In 1892 the British medical association unanimously endorsed the use of hypnosis. In 1956 The Pope approved hypnosis. It was used in wars as an atheistic on the fields. In 1920 Russia medicine used it extensively with obstetrics. It is used today to treat PTSD, Stress for dental and medical procedures and as preparation before and after surgery.
