Founded in 1964, the company has fostered the growth of many professional dance artists, choreographers and teachers and has made seminal contributions to the evolution of modern dance in Canada. Each season WCD creates and presents new work from within the Company and also introduces Winnipeg audiences to some of the best choreography and dance from the rest of Canada.
