I wanted to finish off the visit with our Pinterest contest winners with a final post about their adventures in the city.
I received the nicest email from Alex and Shea telling me a wonderful time they had here.
As we near the end of our journey, we want to sincerely send you a big thank you for organizing such an amazing journey. Everything went smoothly and it was nice to get away together. To continue from where we left off, Thursday we took a little road trip to visit Selkirk and Winnipeg beach. We weren't at either long, just long enough to take in the nice scenery, breathe some fresh air and go for a small walk. We got back and Shea once again went to the gym and I decided to get some culture and visit the WAG. The exhibit was truly marvellous and so well laid out. I love impressionists. We then continued to Celebrations for our nightly entertainment. The show was spectacular, the food marvellous and we enjoyed many laughs throughout the night. The next morning I got up relatively early to head to another TRX class at Yoga Public, loved this class, a full body circuit workout. We then went to The Forks to bike around on the tandem bikes for about an hour before our luscious massage at Riverstone Spa. Truly relaxing. Such a beautiful spa. Afterwards we took a drive to Fun Mountain, there we enjoyed a round of mini putt where Shea beat me. We then drove back to our hotel, ended up at East India Company for dinner and then a drink at the lovely Fort Garry Hotel. And that's the end of our trip.
And I guess that's it. They had a lot of things to cover off during their time here and it looks like they really lived it up while in the city. What a pleasure to be able to share Winnipeg with some truly appreciate folks who had never been here before.
Stay tuned to the blog for more exciting contests in the future!
