Why is Qaumajuq getting so much attention?
It is the first of its kind and houses the largest collection of contemporary Inuit art in the world, with over 14,000 pieces!
What is the visible vault?
This stunning working vault is three stories high and showcases close to 5,000 stone carvings.
One more time, how do I pronounce Qaumajuq?
The phonetic spelling is [kow-ma-yourk] which means "it is bright, it is lit." You can visit the

Do the two buildings connect?
Yes! The buildings have been connected on all levels to create a 185,000-square-foot combined space, and you can move seamlessly throughout.
Do I have to pay to go to the boutique?
The Gallery Shop, Katita Café and the main entrance hall is all FREE to the public! It has a town hall feel so you can shop, eat, and hang out all while taking in breath-taking art.
