Today I'm excited to introduce guest blogger Lyndsey, who writes for WinnipegKidsCan.com. She's a fanatic about Halloween and has pulled together some great family friendly ideas to scare the little ones... but not too much of course.
I admit it. I’m a Halloween Junkie. I can’t get enough of the decorations, the spooky (cheesy) recorded sounds and the art of pumpkin carving. I spend days crafting homemade costumes and ages planning my front yard for optimal fright – rigging fishing wire through windows to make skeletons jump out at passing trick-or-treaters and turning the lawn into a graveyard with wriggling body parts. And I always make my best effort to prolong the festivities. October 31st is just the culmination of weeks of fun exploring Winnipeg’s Halloween entertainment… and let me tell you, there is plenty to choose from.
