Cinematheque is an intimate movie theatre devoted to screening the very best in Canadian, independent, alternative and world cinema. More than just screening films, it also hosts artist talks, panel discussions and special events to feed the minds of cinema fans. Cinematheque operates year round, with two films shown per night Wednesday to Sunday.

The theatre is closed, but Cinematheque at Home offers new theatrical releases every week, which audiences can pay to stream through the website.
